T Connector in A380 in sand casting or gravity die casting

We've just successfully developed  the Aluminum T connector in gravity die casting process.
The required material is A380, and our domestic alternative material ZL 104 T6 is also ok.
There're some ribs insde the inner tube, so it is not proper to made in high pressure die casting.



T connector is used in the scaffolding system, which is  a temporary structure used to support a
work crew and materials to aid in the construction, maintenance and repair of building, bridges and
all other man made structures. Scaffolding is also used in adapted forms for formwork and shoring,
grandstand seating, concert stages, access/viewing towers, exhibition stands, ski ramps, half pipes and art projects.

The aluminium scaffolding components can be made in gravity die casting, or sand casting, according to
the specific design of each part.  Heat treatment is needed at some situations.  Sand blasting to the 
surface is the normal choice. Comparing with the die casting, the mold cost is much lower, but it
needs more work of machining.
